-YAMADA SAN ETC ETC ETC-

Something was stirring in his mind. Something foreign, something alien. It was reaching its hands out of his temporal lobe, talons clutching the sides, pulling itself to the surface, trying to take over.

Yamada really didn't like this metaphor.

There was another person in his mind, trying to call the shots, and he was vile and cruel and hated existance.

Normally Yamada could control this person, keep him from escaping... normally.

But right now, he was weak and he wasn't so certain he could contain himself.

"Be strong," he told himself, clamping his eyes shut, "The monsters can't escape if you build a strong enough cage... be that cage."

He was in a field, it was nighttime, raining lightly. He was curled up in the fetal position, a puddle forming in the mud around him.

"Focus," he said to himself, "Don't let it win!"

There was a sound from nearby. He swore. All the monster needed right now was temptation.

It was a dog.

"Woof woof," the dog said.

"Come on," the monster said, "It's just a dog... come on..."

Yamada blacked out.

When he woke up the dog was gone and there was a funny taste in his mouth.
